Job Description
The Head of Digital HR will partner with stakeholders within HR, IT, and across the business, to drive the agenda for the Thomson Reuters Employee Experience, with a focus on the core HR processes, supported by appropriate technology roadmaps.
The successful candidate will have a clear vision for the HR experience of the future, constantly reinforced by external best practice and innovation, but will also be able to drive a grounded, pragmatic execution plan in partnership with others. The individual will be an experienced people manager responsible for leading a dedicated team and must be adept at inspiring and delivering with both direct and virtual teams.
Success requires continued efficiency and innovation in our digital HR environment as we continually transform the way we work.
Responsibilities and Impact
* Drive the Employee Experience innovation agenda, working closely with stakeholders across HR and across the business, specifically including our corporate IT organization.
* Co-create the broader HR technology roadmap and employee experience journey, influenced by a strong awareness of external best practice.
* Drive value from relationships with third party vendors and outsourcing partners
* Lead teams responsible for owning business process aspects of Workday, including; road-mapping, business process design, reporting, and ongoing run-the-business delivery
* Support, inspire, and successfully develop managers in the Global HR Solutions team directly reporting to and indirectly collaborating
* Knowledgeably advise the HR Leadership executives on external best practices and direction of travel, along with pros & cons, budget implications and recommendations for possible changes and improvements within Thomson Reuters.
* Provide regular updates to HR leadership, escalating items when needed but with presence and relationships to identify and resolve most issues independently.
* Knowledgeably and successfully present our HR IT strategy, roadmap and current progress/actions to senior executive audiences inside and (as approved with PR) outside the company.
* Support special project initiatives for M&A, reorganizations, business transformation.
* Ensure that Personal Employee Data is managed, processed, held and deleted in a secure and compliant manner across systems end to end.
Required Skills/Experience
* Bachelor's degree
* 5 to 10 years in HR IT strategy, planning, operations and delivery
* Extensive experience with Enterprise HR Solutions, such as Workday
* Experience in dealing with other HR Capability domains e.g. Learning Management, Recruitment CRM, Portal
* Experience in governing vendors and BPO providers
* Proven cross-functional team leadership and partnership skills
* Strong consultative skills required
* Proven ability to lead change and implementation of major company initiatives
