This position is part of International Operations Planning, Support and Control team. The incumbent will perform risk assessments, develop risk mitigation and control enhancement strategies to improve Foreign Exchange Operations control environment. This role will also balance best practices across sites and lines of businesses, makes recommendations to standardize procedures and KRI reporting.
The job responsibilities for this position includes: Lead a team of Regulatory Review Specialists to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and execution of established control monitoring program.
Perform Risk Assessment, gap analysis and targeted testing to identify risk and control program enhancements.
Design, implementation and oversight of a control monitoring program.
Evaluate business changes, new or pending laws/regulations impacting the business line to ensure appropriate risk and control oversight.
Provide leadership/support for audits, regulatory exams or reviews.
Engage in a variety of compliance projects and initiatives regarding risk mitigation and strengthening controls for assigned business unit.
Provide management reporting and analysis, synthesizing large amounts of data and summarizing the relevant points for effective communication to senior management.
Act as a model in promoting a strong risk culture across assigned business unit and engage with key business partners across the enterprise.


Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Eight to ten eight years of experience in regulatory compliance activities

Preferred Skills/Experience: Banking operations experience in Foreign Exchange Services or prior work with Regulatory and Enterprise Risk Management disciplines
Advanced knowledge of government and regulatory laws and regulations
Self-starter who takes ownership and can prioritize and manage initiatives independently
Strong presentation skills, comfortable in raising an opposing perspective, influence and present complex topics in a concise, clear and accurate manner
Research and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Function independently with little supervision, lead teams, coaching and staff development
Strong control orientation, analytical skills, attention to detail, critical thinking, problem solving and ability to make sound risk/reward decisions
Strong reporting and data analytics background, with experience in development of operational metrics, KPIs, and KRIs
Strong PC skills to include MS Office products
