This senior level role is responsible for credit, fraud, compliance and operational risk associated with data received from and sent to the credit bureaus. This credit bureau data usage relates to virtually every consumer and small business loan underwritten and every such loan in the Bank's existing portfolio. The professional in this role is the enterprise point of contact on all credit bureau management matters. Manages credit reporting, credit bureau data usage, and credit bureau dispute compliance for U.S. Bancorp's Consumer, Mortgage, Payment Services, and Small Business groups. Responsible for credit bureau management and analysis; FCRA policy development and maintenance, validation of data quality; issue identification and oversight; proactive identification/resolution of emerging risks (Legal, Compliance, Reputation); quarterly error rate trending to provide oversight and visibility to key performance indicators/key risk trends; business line oversight ensures business lines follow established credit bureau policies and enhance processes in an aligned manner; interprets regulatory guidance to ensure compliance/consistent implementation across all business lines/channels of origination. **Qualifications:** Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience - 15 or more years of experience in an applicable risk management environment - Applicable certifications Preferred Skills/Experience - Experience negotiating multi-million-dollar contracts andassociated pricing terms - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Deep knowledge of credit bureau content and usage - Familiarity with process of providing data feeds to thecredit bureaus - Familiarity with key regulations related to credit bureaudata and usage - Considerable knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact their assigned line of business - Considerable knowledge of the business line's operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls - Ability to manage job scope and complexity of assigned business at the multi-departmental and/or multi-divisional level - Strong leadership and management skills of processes, projects and people - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills - Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications **Job:** Risk/Compliance/QC/Audit/Fraud **Primary Location:** Minnesota-MN-Minneapolis **Shift:** 1st - Daytime **Average Hours Per Week:** 40 **Requisition ID:** 190036967 **Other Locations:** United States, Pennsylvania-PA-Horsham U.S. Bank is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to creating a diverse workforce.U.S. Bank is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse workforce.
