Responsibilities Manages office functional areas, monitors and controls activities relating to the Commander's office operations. Analyzes problems associated with the office operations, taking corrective action as necessary. Assures that directives are within the scope of the originating organization's delegated authority and functions. Develops internal SOPs and/or policy memos to establish procedures/guidelines on administrative processes, coordinates and obtains concurrence. Maintains the Commander/Director's and Deputy's calendars and schedules appointments based upon personal knowledge of workload. Ensures that the Commander/Director and Deputy are fully briefed on matters to be considered before the schedule meeting. Electronically inputs time and attendance for employees under direct supervision of the Deputy. Assists subordinate supervisors and employees within the Command of the procedural aspects of expediting the work of the command.
Occasional travel - Official travel is required 5% of the time.
Conditions of Employment Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
