The Business Analysis and Process Consultant in Product Development will be responsible for leading the detailed design, development, implementation, scaling, and continued evolution of the operational processes needed to enable the Special Needs umbrella. This position reports to the Manager of Process/Product Development in UHC Marketing and Consumer Experience. The position is responsible for working with the product / strategy teams and translating that strategy into operational execution. From there the position will work with functional areas across shared services and operations to develop, implement, and scale the operational capabilities needed to execute. This includes understanding current state processes on the administrative, medical, behavioral, pharmacy, lifestyle, and population health areas and how they can be applied to best support families with children with special needs. It will also involve bringing together the best of what UHG can already offer across the Enterprise, developing new where needed, and creating a center of excellence that can be showcased to the market. The position will work with employees across the company to help bring these programs and services to life.
Primary Responsibilities : ? Accountable for translating new strategic product concepts and services (for families with children with special needs) into detailed operational execution, including workflow, process, policy, training, technology and other operational-related development ? Understand current operational execution (services and capabilities) and best practices across the enterprise that could help enable this offering ? Bring together existing operational execution from different parts of the enterprise as well as developing new processes and capabilities needed to deliver service ? Serve as a subject matter expert for model processes and service delivery for roles within the Family Engagement Center ? Understand the needs of families in this space ? Work with internal and external partners to determine the ideal design, and work to develop and execute the service for the market ? Communicate and lead in a manner that fosters collaboration, greater understanding, employee engagement and commitment to results ? Drive change and innovation though continually seeking and implementing innovative solutions; create a culture that thrives on continuous change; inspire people to stretch beyond their comfort zone; take well-reasoned risk; challenge \\\"the way it has always been done\\\"; change direction as required ? ? Undergraduate degree ? Experience should encompass operational development and deployment of new services ? Experience working in large, complex and successful consumer-related organizations ? Strong operational design and deployment experience related to new products, services, technologies, translating product strategy into operational and technical execution ? Strong project management experience ? Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment ? Experience working with vendor partners to deliver a solution to the market ? Proven experience influencing effectively in a large, matrixed environment; Ability to effectively work with and drive progress with stakeholders across the company Preferred Qualifications: ? Solid development mindset and ability to facilitate the building of new assets, capabilities and solutions ?
