Adjunct Instructor of American Sign Language
The Department of Modern and Classical Languages within the School of Humanities at University of Lynchburg invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor in American Sign Language for fall 2020/spring 2021. Candidates must have a master's degree in the field of American Sign Language & Interpreter Education (ASL&IE), or a master's degree with eighteen (18) graduate semester hours in the discipline, and possess demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching and the ability to work with a diverse student body. ASLTA certification, Advanced or Superior Level on SLPI: ASL or similar proficiency assessment preferred.
Selected candidate must successfully pass a background check that is satisfactory to the University.
