19th Century U.S. History. The Department of History at the University of New Hampshire is seeking applicants for the position of tenure-track assistant professor in the history of the United Statesbetween 1800 and 1877. Scholars of African-American history are of particular interest.The ability to teach the history of the U.S. Civil War and Reconstructionis essential.Applicants will be expected to teach introductory, upper-division, and graduate courses in American history and one General Education survey per year.
