Responsibilities:

  • Provide assurance to management, related to the adequacy of internal controls, and the design and operating effectiveness of business processes
  • Lead opening meetings, status meetings, and closing meetings for the audit engagement
  • Review internal and co-sourced team assignments to ensure that work was performed in compliance with the audit program and meets/exceeds departmental audit quality standards
  • Develop value-add recommendations for management to improve the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls and operations
  • Draft audit reports that are clear and concise with audit findings and recommendations
  • Follow up on audit findings to ensure timely and proper remediation
  • Leverage your past experiences and business acumen to mentor internal audit staff members
  • Assist in the performance of Anti-bribery Anti-corruption (ABAC), operational audits, fraud investigations and special projects, both independently and through team collaboration
  • Domestic and international travel is required; approximately 25%

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business-related field of study
  • MBA, MSA or related advanced degree preferred
  • 3+ years of audit (internal or external) experience
    • Global manufacturing, life sciences or publicly traded company preferred, but not required
  • Must possess high ethical values, be self-motivated and a team player with ability to complete multiple projects on time
  • Solid understanding of IIA Standards, GAAP and SOX
  • Strong presentation, interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills required
  • Experience with SAP, professional certifications (e. g. CIA, CISA) and foreign language preferred
