Provide assurance to management, related to the adequacy of internal controls, and the design and operating effectiveness of business processes
Lead opening meetings, status meetings, and closing meetings for the audit engagement
Review internal and co-sourced team assignments to ensure that work was performed in compliance with the audit program and meets/exceeds departmental audit quality standards
Develop value-add recommendations for management to improve the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls and operations
Draft audit reports that are clear and concise with audit findings and recommendations
Follow up on audit findings to ensure timely and proper remediation
Leverage your past experiences and business acumen to mentor internal audit staff members
Assist in the performance of Anti-bribery Anti-corruption (ABAC), operational audits, fraud investigations and special projects, both independently and through team collaboration
Domestic and international travel is required; approximately 25%
Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business-related field of study
MBA, MSA or related advanced degree preferred
3+ years of audit (internal or external) experience
Global manufacturing, life sciences or publicly traded company preferred, but not required
Must possess high ethical values, be self-motivated and a team player with ability to complete multiple projects on time
Solid understanding of IIA Standards, GAAP and SOX
Strong presentation, interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills required
Experience with SAP, professional certifications (e. g. CIA, CISA) and foreign language preferred
