*Wells Fargo Technology* sets IT strategy; enhances the design, development, and operations of our systems; optimizes the Wells Fargo infrastructure footprint; provides information security; and enables continuous banking access through in-store, online, ATM, and other channels to Wells Fargo's more than 70 million global customers.



Wells Fargo Technology is hiring a seasoned Technical Analyst (Business Systems consultant 5), which is a newly created role that will be part of the first line of defense risk management aligned to Wholesale Technology. This IT Governance Consultant is responsible to evaluate overall information technology risk, maintain an active view, and report on the actual, mitigated and residual risk in the Wholesale Technology organization. In collaboration with the 2nd line of defense risk management teams, compliance related closure activities for Wholesale Technology are coordinated through this role.



As the IT Governance Consultant, you will be focused on four key performance areas affecting critical areas of the wholesale technology organization. Those areas include...



* Risk Identification, Assessment, Monitoring and Response

* Identify, assess and evaluate risk to enable the execution of the enterprise risk management strategy as applicable to Wholesale Technology.

* Monitor risk and communicate information to the relevant stakeholders to ensure the continued effectiveness of the enterprise's risk management strategy.

* Develop and implement risk responses to ensure that risk factors and events are addressed in a cost-effective manner and in line with the Enterprise objectives.



IT Policies/Governance and Compliance



* In co-operation with Enterprise policy owners, review information systems policies, standards and procedures to ensure that they address the organization's internal and external requirements.

* Provide feedback on proposed policies, standards and procedures prior to publication

* Communicate new policies, standards and procedures to all Wholesale Technology stakeholders

* Assist the Wholesale Technology teams in their evaluation of compliance with published or proposed policies and offer solutions to remediate non-compliance situations

* Maintain a schedule of policy review and communication

* Accountable for the Wholesale Technology Policy Exceptions Management Process



Audits and Information Systems Control Testing Facilitation



* Serve as liaison to internal and external auditors, technology controls evaluators and consultants regarding documentation and review of information compliance.

* In co-operation with the Enterprise Operational Risk functions, Internal Audit and external auditors facilitate testing to confirm continuous efficiency and effectiveness of information systems controls.

* Communicate audit and review results to appropriate parties; ensure that issues are addressed and corrective actions are implemented.

* Maintain sufficient, adequate evidence to support conclusions on the existence and operating effectiveness of information systems controls.

* Keep a tracking action list of all audit issues and provide information systems control status reporting to relevant stakeholders to enable informed decision making.

* Projects and Initiatives related to IT



Participate in IT projects and initiatives to bring pro-active risk management focus into solutions.





Required Qualifications:



* 7+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both

* 2+ years of experience in information security risk management or technology risk management
