Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally. Our four major business lines include Corporate & Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate, and Wells Fargo Commercial Capital. We also have groups in credit risk, group risk, finance, marketing, human relations, and the Wholesale Chief Operating Office that support our businesses.
This role provides the opportunity to join a new centralized credit-oriented Control Team that will provide key oversight for specific credit activities across the Wholesale platform. The Control Team will be subject matter experts, assist with training to team members and conduct quality assurance reviews on key credit related activities.
The initial focus of the team will be around Higher-Risk Borrower ( HRB ) determinations. The Control Team will be the subject matter experts for the Bank on the implementation of HRB assessments. The team will assist with training, performing ongoing front line quality assurance reviews across the C&I portfolio and validating Credit Policy Exceptions (CPEs/UMVs/OTEs).
The Credit Portfolio Manager 3 will lead the Control Team which includes sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks. Performing as the Control Team Manager, the ideal candidate will drive the HRB determination process across the Wholesale platform; provide guidance to the Front Line and the Control Team for HRB Assessments; respond to inquiries of Risk Asset Review and Loan Supervision; and provide HRB training to various LOB's on a re-occurring basis.
