*Corporate Risk* helps all Wells Fargo businesses identify and manage risk. The team focuses on several key risk types, including conduct, credit, financial crimes, information security, interest rate, liquidity, market, model, operational, regulatory compliance, reputation, strategic, and technology risk. The group provides leadership, enhances communications, assists with problem identification and solutions, and shares best practices. In addition, the group provides an enterprise-wide view of risk, assists management and our Board of Directors in identifying and monitoring risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and takes appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.

The *Finance Control Organization (FCO)* within Enterprise Finance (EF) provides risk and control support to the Enterprise Finance businesses for all front line risk activities. Finance includes Business Finance, Controllers, Corporate Strategy, Corporate Treasury, Enterprise Finance, Customer Remediation, Business Process Management, Data Management and Insights and Enterprise Shared Services (ESS).

FCO is seeking an Operational Risk Manager to manager oversee the implementation of Global Delivery and Operational Risk Events, External Loss and Scenario Analysis policies. Within a team environment and reporting to the Strategic Risk and Business Controls Leader within the Finance Control Organization, he/she will manage a team of risk professionals responsible for providing risk consultation during offshoring of processes and ensuring that loss events are enriched appropriately. This team is also responsible for the development and maintenance of strong relationships across Independent Risk, applicable lines of business, and Wells Fargo Audit Services (WFAS).

*Specific Job Responsibilities:*

* Partner with EF Global Solutions Program Office (GSPO), ESS Governance, Global Delivery Program Office (GDPO), Enterprise Internal/External Loss Events and Scenario Analysis teams to develop strategy and provide leadership, and direction to rest of the team

* Build relationships with business partners to ensure there is a good understanding of the policy requirements for these programs

* Review and monitor business unit plans to implement new or changing policies, standards, procedures, methodologies and practices impacting Enterprise Finance EGS engagements.

* Provide guidance on interpretation and implementation of the GDA policy, ESS transition methodology, and supporting guidance documents.

* Facilitate execution of global delivery risk management at the group and business line levels. Work with U.S.-based LOB engagement managers to ensure program requirements are met throughout the lifecycle of each EGS engagement for all relevant types of risk.

* Help facilitate ongoing portfolio reviews for existing EGS engagements, reflecting results of performance monitoring, and changes in the portfolio composition.

* Monitor and escalate operational risk incidents, issues, control review findings, and associated action plans related to Enterprise Finance EGS engagements. Review risk assessment information and escalate risk acceptances for approval, as required.

* Evaluate and manage approval process for policy or control standard exception/extension requests.

* Analyze emerging risks, control findings, risk metrics and trends related to Enterprise Finance EGS engagements, and drive corrective action when needed.

* Oversee heat map reporting as required by the GDA policy

* Provide support for Enterprise Finance audit and exam activities associated with EGS engagements or global delivery risk management.

* Support privacy reviews for offshore transitions within Enterprise Finance

* Represent Enterprise Finance in Operational Risk Events discussions

* Assisting with tracking and reporting of progress with reporting tools to ensure deliverable timelines are met and consistent reporting is produced

* Taking appropriate action in the Operational Risk Event database based on external events, if required

* Review the enrichment to loss data by operational risk even coordinators and address data quality issues, if needed

* Complete program analysis against Policy requirements, identify deficiencies, recommend and implement solutions, processes and procedures

* Promote a strong risk culture, cultivate relationships and foster a team orientation with Finance business partners, Finance Control Executive team, independent risk management, and internal audit

Required Qualifications:

* 8+ years of experience in compliance, operational risk management (includes audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk), or a combination of both; or 8+ years of IT systems security, business process management or financial services industry experience, of which 4+ years must include direct experience in compliance, operational risk management, or a combination of both

* 3+ years of management experience

* Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
