Technology Operational Process & Data Management (TOPDM) - Metrics Governance:

As an Analytic Consultant on the TOPDM Metrics Governance team, this role will develop, define, manage and provide oversight of the data framework necessary to support risk and operational metric development at a Wells Fargo Technology group and disaggregated level. Key consumers include Technology Risk and Control Committee (TRCC) and its subcommittees, Operating Review and other critical metric reporting stakeholders.



Key Responsibilities Include:

? Utilizing data and analytics to drive business decisions, identify and measure risk, assess historical business performance and provide a look forward view of potential business outcomes.

? Leveraging data and statistical analytics techniques (regression, correlation, etc.), reporting/BI tools (Tableau, SSRS, Excel, etc.), and various complex data sources in design, development, and automation of metrics based reporting solutions with a keen focus on Technology objectives, based on business requirements and partnership with stakeholders.

? Delivering continuous improvement of the metric development and data acquisition process, quality, taxonomy and proper accessibility of data for review, analysis and commentary.

? Leading projects/virtual teams and mentor lower level staff.



We are seeking a leader and clear communicator who has the ability to work as part of a team, lead projects and initiatives, as well as work autonomously. Candidates will have a superb attention to detail, strong technical skills (must have SQL and data management skills) and a strong focus on data quality. Prior experience with process; a demonstrated ability to quickly learn, retain, and apply business rules and terminology; and ability to apply good interpersonal skills, and perform effectively under time pressures. Highly developed organizational skills and a proven track record of leadership are required to plan and organize large projects, monitor results and make necessary adjustments to meet project goals and deadlines.





Required Qualifications:



* 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling; or a Masters degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and 5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling

* 5+ years of financial services experience

* 5+ years of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) experience

* 8+ years of MS SQL server experience

* 8+ years of SQL experience

* 3+ years of experience with analytical methods used in statistical analysis, modeling, and reporting

* 3 + years of experience gathering business requirements from various sources including end-users and stakeholders

* 5+ years of analytics consulting experience

* 5+ years of experience creating executive level dashboards, analytics, and reports using advanced visualization tools

* 5+ years of T-SQL (Transact-SQ) experience

* 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: data management, metrics & business intelligence, data warehouse

* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

* SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience

* Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities

* Ability to research, analyze, document, and present organizational metrics that drive business decisions

* Ability to research, compile, and present critical operational data in executive summaries

* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important

* Ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment

* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including high level of proficiency in modeling

* Knowledge and understanding of data cubes design and use

* Knowledge and understanding of data single and multivariate regression, probability, confidence intervals, and data correlation analysis

* Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives

* 1+ year of JIRA experience

* Experience capturing and documenting complex business and functional requirements which may include workflows, process maps, or business processes

* Ability to play leadership role in large and complex analytical projects

* Experience facilitating complex design discussions and driving results







* Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
