*Strategic Execution & Operations Office (SEO Office)*



The SEO Office was established to create a one Wells Fargo consistent and coordinated operational excellence mindset through:



* Ensuring that our business design and practices achieve our risk management goals and satisfy our regulatory priorities

* Addressing regulatory criticism and clear strategic regulatory priorities

* Aligning business strategies and execution

* Driving greater consistency of process, practices and execution

* Identifying opportunities for organization changes that reduce complexity and achieve the benefits of streamlined efficiencies

* Establishing monitoring and accountability metrics to drive and maintain execution performance



*The Role*



Reporting to the SEO Head Business Process Management and Operational Design, the Head of Operational Design will be responsible for partnering with leadership across various teams including Services Governance Office, Business Process Management, Finance, Operations, Technology and COO teams to identify, analyze, and execute opportunities to integrate, rationalize, and strengthen operational processes and capabilities at the Company.



This senior leadership position will lead efforts to implement operational excellence by partnering with leadership in Services Governance Office, Business Process Management, Finance, Operations, Technology and COO teams to identify, analyzes and execute opportunities to integrate, rationalize and strengthen operational processes and capabilities at the Company. Specifically, the position will:



* Lead efforts to identify areas of operational improvement

* Analyze functions used across the Company used to provide similar operational capabilities to benchmark operational and technology capabilities, identify operational weaknesses

* Work with Enterprise Process Owners and other Senior Leadership to outline a roadmap for improvement.

* Ensure execution against identified opportunities

* Coordinate with finance and LOB leadership to analyze costs associated with supporting these operations and opportunities for rationalization and centralization.

* Partner with Business Process Management, and LOB stakeholders to identify appropriate metrics to measure stability of the processes and goals for operational efficiency.

* Ensure operational designs lead to effective risk management through operational simplification and efficiency.







*Role #2: Head of Enterprise Framework Office*



Reporting to the SEO Head Business Process Management and Operational Design, the Head of Enterprise Framework Office will be responsible for identifying, developing and executing the strategy and initiatives that will align various Enterprise frameworks to allow for end-to-end transparency across the Enterprise through the normalization and connection of disparate data sets.



This senior leadership position will lead the Enterprise Framework Office. They will be responsible for identifying, developing and executing the strategy and initiatives that will align various Enterprise frameworks to allow for end-to-end transparency across the Enterprise through the normalization and connection of disparate data sets. This will enable Enterprise views to enhance risk reduction, identify efficiency opportunities and provide business insights to make informed strategic decisions.



This leader will be responsible for driving enterprise-wide transformation by identifying the core components for integration, designing the operational model, building a robust change management strategy, and establishing enterprise-wide governance including the creation of policies and procedures for standardizing the overarching Enterprise framework model.



This leader will partner with business, operational and risk leaders to develop the program, including the development of long term BAU processes. This role will build and oversee a team to:

* Establish a cohesive framework with supported infrastructure that provides consistent and authoritative views

* Create holistic views that are anchored by core Enterprise information, taxonomies, and shared languages

* Create and maintain relationships amongst key business components to enable risk reduction, strategic business planning and decision making using common languages



* The Candidate:*



These roles will have significant exposure to senior executive leadership. The incumbent may interact directly with regulators representing Wells Fargo. This role will report directly to the Head of Business Process Management and Operational Design and be accountable for hiring, retaining, and developing a diverse, strategic, and execution oriented team.



The successful candidate will work closely with other senior leaders across Independent Risk Management, Corporate Functions and the Front Line (including Front Line Control Executives) in the development and execution of company risk management strategies. Accordingly, critical success factors will include the ability to develop partnerships with many business and functional areas and provide execution excellence for Independent Risk Management.





Required Qualifications:



* 10+ years of management experience

* 10+ years of leadership experience in one or a combination of the following: financial services industry, risk management or leadership experience across multiple, complex businesses
