Job Summary:. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and developing and executing the HR function strategy, providing operational support and direction for the Global Operations' Contract Manufacturing. Key to the success of this role will be the requirement to design and deliver region-wide HR strategies and initiatives to support the growth of the business. The role will also focus on providing appropriate HR business partner support within the newly defined structures of the Global Operations organization.. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:. Support the design, delivery and implementation of global human resource strategies and initiatives for the Global Operations CM sites that include over 2000 employees.. Provide operational support and direction to the HR organization (including KPI's) to help deliver the HR strategic plan and business goals.. Collaborate with peers across the US and globally to harmonize HR best practices.. Work closely with the assigned business clients in developing a comprehensive knowledge of the business in order to provide and anticipate the required human resource support needed.. Participate in and contribute to strategic forums, providing key human resource data, analytics and guidance (e.g. the annual strategic planning, workforce planning and budgeting processes).. Develop close working relationships with local human resources to ensure the optimum provision of best-in-class services and solutions.. Provide the appropriate business partner support in the acquisition, development and retention of talent, working in close collaboration with the global talent acquisition teams.. Lead and support as appropriate the design and development of reward & incentive plans, working closely with the global compensation team.. Manage the efficient resolution of employee issues through proactive engagement with local HR as appropriate.. Lead and participate as appropriate in global/regional human resource projects in support of the overall global HR business strategy.. Actively participate and contribute to the various HR leadership forums in order to further progress the organization's HR value proposition.. Lead by example in promoting the West organization culture and demonstrating adherence to the West code of conduct and values.. Lead and facilitate other important HR initiatives, such as talent management, succession planning, performance management, culture and engagement, diversity and inclusion, etc.. Other duties as assigned.. Basic Qualifications:. Minimum bachelor's degree in relevant business or human resources discipline, master's degree preferred. 15+ years of relevant HR experience in senior leadership role within an international business environment, with experience in an highly regulated manufacturing environment preferred.. SHRM certified preferred.. Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:. Strong business knowledge and capability to assess HR implications of business priorities.. Experience in managing complex projects.. Proficiency in MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).. Experience and motivation to work in an international, cross-functional environment..
