As Senior Director of Fab Finance, you will lead a team responsible for both Fab Operations FP&A and all Joint Venture (JV) related financials. You will act as the key liaison between Western Digital and the JV Finance teams. You will be a close partner with Fab Operations, Planning, Technology Development and JV Operations teams in driving business decisions, including cash and cost optimization. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Decision support for JV negotiations, including new contracts, on-going cross charges etc. Long range planning and delivery of Industry based models Fab Ops Business Partner Direct monthly period-close process and budget cycles for Cap Ex and Wafer Cost Attend JV business reviews in Japan Prepare relevant Executive material related to investment decisions Oversee monthly spending reviews for both Ops and Tech teams Review and challenge CapEx forecast, partner with the internal Fab Ops Planning group and JV teams to optimize investment strategy Actual to variance analyses Oversee relevant analyses and inputs into the Cost refresh process Drive operational optimization projects as primary finance lead, providing guidance to ensure decisions result in real economic savings Partnering with Ops to generate and track cost optimization projects Lead savings calculation, validation and reporting REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in manufacturing finance and accounting areas, preferably with semiconductor experience. Hands on familiarity with all aspects of inventory and cost accounting. MBA preferred. Clear and precise communication. Demonstrated ability to present audience appropriate information to all levels of organization Experience working with cross-functional teams across geo and time zones and handling multiple projects simultaneously. Experience working in Japan a plus. Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment. Flexible and dynamic team player who can collaborate with many different types of personalities and still maintain a sense of calm and good humor under pressure.
