Office Technology Manager

The IT \"Workplace Technology\" group is separated into two functional teams responsible for - Colleague \"User Technology\" and Real Estate \"Office Technology\". The Manager for Office Technology will therefore lead this team with full accountability for technological developments and associated standards throughout WTW Real Estate & Workplace Solutions (RE&WS).

Aligned with Service Engineering, this team will be responsible for the design, development and delivery of solutions, working in partnership with RE&WS to deliver integrated and optimized Office Technologies to enhance the operational environment and resulting colleague productivity.

Maintaining a strategic focus on enhancing RE&WS services to promote business growth and development, the Office Technology team will ensure that key functional environments, services and capabilities are fit for purpose, deliver a superior user experience and provide an optimum working environment.

**The Role**

? Define the ongoing development and improvement of RE&WS technology solutions.

? Serve as the primary solutions and technology interface between RE&WS and IT teams.

? Proactively evolve and enhance the solutions portfolio delivering continual service improvement.

? Maintain a focus on technology solutions to enhance colleague and business productivity.

? Assist with the strategic development or RE&WS through innovation and ideation.

? Ensure ongoing technology alignment with IT strategy and compliance with technology standards.

? Build Corporate and Business Stakeholder relationships and encourage continual feedback.

? Ensure solution developments are aligned with business strategy and development expectations.

? Provide consultancy and solution architecture expertise where appropriate.

? Oversee the development of strategies, designs and optimized solutions to align with business need.

? Ensure solutions meet functional, performance, budgetary, security and operational expectations.

? Ensure branch office technology services remain in accordance with the global standards.

? Facilitate and oversee office technology refresh in accordance with global Real Estate schedules.

? Assist with Business Continuity Planning for Real Estate and workplace technology recovery.

? Provide Engineering assistance for critical technology escalations in collaboration with Operations teams.

? Ensure technology developments are documented and communicated throughout IT and RE&WS teams.

? Engage service providers, developing partnerships, SLA's and pro-active communication channels.

? Manage the Office Technology team resources, achieving both individual and team aspirations.

? Apply technology awareness and associated management skills to develop team resources.

? Provide education, guidance and mentoring throughout the Office Technology team as needed.

? Ensure talent, creativity, and opportunities for innovation are recognized and developed appropriately.

? Propagate a culture of excellence, openness, communication, and support.

? Ability to translate business requirements into sustainable and effective solutions and services.

? Display an aptitude to develop new and innovative ways to enhance IT service offerings.

? Possess comprehensive technology awareness and solution engineering expertise.

? Display communication and inter-personal skills to represent IT within RE&WS and Business forums.

? Ability to articulate and present solutions and ideas in non-technical language.

? Demonstrate leadership qualities to guide and mentor colleagues where appropriate.

? Ability to effectively engage with technology teams to influence attitudes and behaviors.

? Demonstrate vendor relationship management skills to ensure technology services remain fit for purpose.

? Experience in the design and development of workplace technology and agile working solutions.

? Comprehensive understanding of Enterprise IT environment, interfaces and system dependencies.
